The Miss Universe 2009 pageant will be held on August 23, 2009 in The Bahamas. Like on any other pageants like Miss Universe, there are favorites in the Miss Universe 2009. The contestants who are likely to become on top or if fortunate enough be the Miss Universe 2009 winner are:
Miss Australia, Miss Japan, Miss Bahamas, Miss Venezuela, Miss Vietnam, and Miss Ghana.
Last year's winner was Miss Venezuela Dayana Mendoza, who will appear topless on September 2009 issue of Maxim Magazine.
